There is a great family owned breakfast café called Darlene’s Breakfast Café. It is family-owned and operated, and uses homemade recipes for their menu. They use fresh ingredients, and you can truly taste the pinch of love and care they put into every dish.

The coffee shop Walker & Tay is great for a quick caffeine pick-me-up! This coffee shop is fresh and modern yet still keeps the cozy comforts of home aesthetic. It calls a repurposed shipping container home, and has soft couches inside, perfect for sipping a cup of coffee.

There is also a food truck park on the side of the property. These are all independently owned and operated food trucks, which is great for supporting the local eateries. Giving so much exposure to these small businesses shows that the District on 46 really wants to help the Spring Branch area thrive. There’s plenty of sitting space outside so you can soak in the crisp hill country air. The oak trees on the property give plenty of shade as well. The outdoor playground is great for kids! There are also corn hole boards, giant Jenga blocks, and Connect Four boards. This central Texas location is absolutely beautiful and is a great mix of outdoor space, and indoor businesses.

Shopping at District on 46

The family owned businesses and boutiques are fantastic for finding that perfect holiday gift. Savannah’s Touch has Southern decor, women’s accessories, military gifts, and a lot more. The owners take pride in supporting those serving and who have served, and are valued members of the military community. You can read more about their story on the District on 46’s website for Savannah’s Touch.

If you’re looking for gifts for your children, or the collectors in your family, you should check out Diecast Republic. When I visited Diecast Republic, the owners were very welcoming, and family oriented. They had so many hotwheels and matchbox cars! The staff was so helpful and informative, I know I got the best cars for my kids.

Sashi’s Boutique had a lot of great finds and cute clothes! The clothes are flowy, feminine, and most importantly, comfortable! Finding presents for friends and family can sometimes be a challenge. But when I walked in here, it wasn’t hard to find new additions to my wish list. It’s great finding such cool stores in a central location of Spring Branch with so many local shops here at the District on 46.

There is always something to do, and nightlife here in Texas Hill Country is absolutely the best! Check out Tree Haus Tavern. I love the modern two story shipping container look! Inside, it is beautifully decorated, and absolutely perfect for Instagram posts. The swings to sit on are so fun and unique as well. The bartenders are friendly, and it is the best hidden gem here in Spring Branch.
